The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly - John 10:10
"I don't know what they want from me, it's like the more money we come across, The more problems we see" - The Notorious B.I.G. (1997). I know it's a contrast to see references from a slain hip hop artist on the same blog with a well known bible verse, but it represents 2 different views on the same subject: Abundance. They have been a number of articles written, sermons preached along with barbershop discussions too numerous to count.
The Power of One Man Nation, (I guess we qualify as one) I need your help! There have been a number of interpretations for the above referenced scripture, and I would like to receive your feedback on your opinion of it. How to do you define abundance? How do you feel about abundance and how it fits into your life? What does abundance really mean to you? Have you experienced abundance in your life, and if so, how has it changed you? On the flip side, has the pursuit of an abundant lifestyle caused problems in your personal life? Has the pursuit of material gain caused as the Notorious B.I.G. stated, more problems? I can speak to that (again, that will be the subject of another blog post) on a personal level. Please leave your comments on this subject below. Your opinion matters and will be most welcomed.
